Bull City Food & Beer Experience
An Outing at the Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC) in Durham, North Carolina

The first and hopefully annual Bull City Food & Beer Experience at the Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC) went off without a hitch. BrewChief greatly enjoyed the experience and was thrilled to be a part of it. An array of Durham's finest restaurants wowed attendees with a smorgasbord of savory morsels and local/national breweries complimented them with delicious brews.

I especially enjoyed the panel presentation with Ken Grossman (owner of Sierra Nevada), Kim Jordan (president of New Belgium), and Dale Katechis (founder of Oskar Blues). They provided some great insight behind their decisions to set up satellite facilities in North Carolina. They even took plenty of time to mingle with guests afterwards, further showcasing the grounded and appreciative mentality of the craft beer movement.

I also have to spotlight John and his merry men over at Sam's Quik Shop for representing the Bull City like champs. Their handling of the event was flawless and I couldn't be prouder of my local beer slingers. Cheers!
